hi ishita.
i wanted to make you something that wasn't an instagram story or a paragraph in a text. so i made a webpage, like it's 1999 and i have a geocities account and nothing but time.
it's not fancy. i just wanted a corner of the internet that says, plainly, that i think you're great.
i messaged you on instagram out of nowhere. a few weeks later we were at karaoke. you were having the time of your life, then suddenly very much not, and i ended up figuring out how to get you back to your pg. not the smoothest first date. i don't think either of us would've called it romantic.
the next morning could've made the whole thing a "mistake." i thought that was what i'd decided. somewhere in there, i already knew i was in trouble.
and now it's been a year and a half. i've never felt this understood, or this comfortable being myself. i love our specific kind of weird, even when it gets complicated. i want the ordinary future stuff with you: an apartment, coming home to you, and a lifetime of sending each other reels you'll probably ignore.
i love you so much, babe. i'm still learning how to show you that in the ways you want, and i want to keep getting better. i want you for life. tung tung.
a few moments with you i want to keep coming back to.
